Aja Waseem

Born in Orlando, Florida, Aja Waseem grew up immersed in the world of sports. Her father, a respected mentor in the football community, helped student-athletes earn college scholarships through his nonprofit Top Recruits Now, which hosted football camps and national college bus tours. From a young age, Aja assisted in organizing these camps and tours, witnessing firsthand how sports could transform athletes’ lives. Through these efforts, the program helped facilitate hundreds of scholarships and mentored athletes who went on to the NFL, including Tyler Davis (LA. Rams) , Renardo Green (San Francisco 49ers), and Brandon Hill (Houston Texans).

Inspired by these experiences, Aja pursued a degree in Journalism at Florida A&M University, graduating in 2026. During college, she worked with Sports Club Florida, interviewing athletes and producing sports stories, and later interned with Athlete MGMT, where she researched and pitched brand partnership opportunities for professional athletes, including a successful Red Bull collaboration.

Outside of sports media, Aja created Wassup Waseem, a podcast focused on personal growth through honest and vulnerable conversations.

Today, she brings all of these experiences together through Waseem Enterprises, a platform dedicated to storytelling, athlete brand development, and marketing strategy. Her mission is to help athletes build strong personal brands, secure meaningful partnerships, and create opportunities that lead to long-term generational wealth.

Aja plans to pursue a law degree in 2027 with the goal of becoming a licensed sports agent, combining her background in media, marketing, and law to help athletes both maximize their opportunities and protect their careers.
